Dr. MV has been working with several collaborators and students on projects focused on financing wetland restoration through the carbon markets. The MV Lab has been providing data which highlights the ability of tidal wetlands to sequester greenhouse gases, as well as collaborating with other scientists to generate models that are able to calculate how greenhouse gas fluxes may change with restoration efforts.
