Our two undergraduate NSF Summer Undergraduate Research Fellows presented their findings at the 2014 SURF conference held at the University of Rhode Island. Ryan Quin worked with our graduate student, Elizabeth Brannon, on researching greenhouse gas fluxes at the Field's Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. Alexandra Moen examined nitrous oxide production from subtidal bivalves in the Narragansett Bay. Even though their internships are over, these lucky gals will continue to work in our lab for the fall semester. Excellent job, MV team!
Meet the rest of the SURF 2014 class here!
