Both Dr. Serena Moseman-Valtierra and Elizabeth Brannon traveled to San Francisco to attend the AGU Meeting. Dr. Moseman-Valtierra gave a talk titled "Testing two potential fates for coastal marshes: Greenhouse gas emissions from native, Phragmites australis-invaded, and permanently inundated zones" and Elizabeth presented a poster titled "Using Mid-IR Cavity Ring-Down Spectrometry to Simultaneously Measure N2O, CO2, and CH4 Fluxes: Responses to Ammonium Nitrate Additions in Salt Marshes". You can view electronic copies of their abstracts in the online AGU program. During the conference Elizabeth had a chance to visit the birth place of the lab's CRDS Analyzer, Picarro headquarters. What a great way to end the year!
